Falcon Recreation Group is delighted to announce its latest acquisition with Gloucester based Golden Castle Caravans Limited.
This is the second acquisition by Falcon Recreation Group since it’s first of Premium Motorhomes in March 2022.
Golden Castle Caravans has been one of the south-west’s leading caravan retailers for over 40 years.
Originally formed in 1977 by Richard Dee and his father-in-law Bert Miles. Richard Dee retired in 2009 and passed the reins over to his son Craig Dee as Managing Director.
Alex Pennington a long serving director is now managing the business.

This latest deal was backed by Opulentia Capital, the majority shareholder in Falcon Recreation Group.
Opulentia Capital are a global merger and acquisitions firm. Paul Seabridge, CEO Opulentia Capital said “Our goal is to build a 100m revenue group in this space. Acquire and invest in Caravan, Motorhome and other related leisure businesses. The model is to be involved with long established and well run companies, for which they can benefit from being part of a larger group and take business to the next level.”
